Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Shieldcode’s website and services (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting, with updated Effective Date. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.

3. Use of Services

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must not:

  • Reverse engineer or interfere with the operation of the Services.
  • Upload malicious code or infringing content.
  • Share credentials or access in an unauthorized manner.

4. Account Registration

You may register via OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity on your account.

5. Subscription & Payment

Services are billed monthly via Stripe. You authorize recurring charges. You may cancel anytime, and cancellation takes effect at period end.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are available if requested within 14 days of payment. After 14 days, no refunds.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software in the Services are owned by Shieldcode or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Services per these Terms.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of code and data you upload; we do not save or store your code beyond the real-time analysis required to provide the Services. We utilize the authorized Google Gemini API service for automated pull request reviews.

9. Privacy

Use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Services. You may close your account at any time via your dashboard.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED, SHIELDCODE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Shieldcode is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
